We are the founders of Book Lazy, a platform and service through which we manage over 100 short-term rental properties in the seaside and mountain resorts of Bulgaria — Varna, Golden Sands, St. St. Constantine and Helena, Ruse, Byala, Pamporovo and Plovdiv.
How did it all start? We were once in your shoes too – with an apartment that sat empty, or was rented out long-term with minimal returns and maximum headaches from unreliable tenants, unpaid bills and repairs after every tenant. We were confused, with no idea where to start, with no experience with platforms like Booking and Airbnb.
Over time, through many tests and working with dozens of properties, we built a working system – clear, practical and suitable for anyone, even with no experience at all.
Why did we create this handbook? Because we want to save you: the time spent lost between forums, articles and a lack of information; the mistakes we made ourselves; the fear of taking the first step. In this material we've gathered only what truly works – tested, practical, without unnecessary theory.
